Board of Health Gives Native Sun Cannabis Conditional Approval to Open
NORTH ATTLEBORO — March 22, 2022 — North Attleborough Board of Health unanimously approves Native Sun Cannabis for adult-use retail sales at 1320 South Washington Street. The board voted to grant final approval to the dispensary, operated by Holland Brands, contingent on a health-agent inspection set for March 24 at 4:30 p.m. Charlie Yon, Director of Operations, and three colleagues appeared before the board, answering questions about flavored vaping products — which the town's regulations prohibit — bulk-purchase specials, security procedures for deliveries, and traffic management. Yon said the company's point-of-sale system enforces the state's 28-gram daily purchase limit across both its North Attleborough and Hudson locations, and described bay doors that allow delivery vehicles to complete transfers "behind closed doors." A Cannabis Control Commission final inspection is scheduled for March 29; if cleared, the CCC issues authorization three business days later, putting a likely opening in the second or third week of April.
