Plainville Planning Board Continues All Three Public Hearings to July 20

NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH — June 15, 2026 — Plainville Planning Board continues all three pending public hearings to July 20 without taking testimony. The board, meeting June 15, unanimously continued a site plan review application by F&S Ventures LLC for a commercial horse farm at 1 and 2 Tisbert's Way, after the applicant's representative cited an ongoing peer review of test pit results and an anticipated change in board membership. A second application, by 128 Washington Street Holdings, LLC, for a hotel and industrial operations building at 128 Washington Street, was also continued; planning staff noted the three-story hotel requires a zoning variance, a $30,000 performance bond has not been posted, and fire and police comments are pending — details that emerged after a board member raised a question about a reported $4.2 million registry deed transfer of the 45-acre parcel. A third item, an outdoor dining permit for Frankie's Bistro at 119 Washington Street, was continued after no applicant representative appeared. The board also tabled five backlogged sets of March meeting minutes and flagged uncertainty over a joint Select Board session, tentatively set for July 13, to appoint a new Planning Board member.
